The Growth Hub is a partnership between the University of Gloucestershire and GFirst LEP, helping businesses realise their potential and grow.
The Growth Hub were keen to showcase their networking space and meeting rooms, and commissioned me to shoot a Google Street View tour with a bespoke overlay, to guide visitors around the venue. They also wanted a library of stills to use on their website and on social media.

Here’s their testimonial:
- “Justin is a superb photographer, has a great eye and most importantly is a thoroughly nice person. He was extremely flexible when shooting our 360 Tour, he needed almost no brief and got it perfect right off the bat. He has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with and I can comfortably recommend him to any business that wants an injection of creativity.” Ross Jukes, The Growth Hub, University of Gloucester
Good looking venues who want to attract new clients and show off their facilities are one of sectors that tend to make the most of my virtual tours. The overlays can be updated remotely( with new events, photos and calls to action), without any down time at all – and they’re search-able by Google.
We’ve been waiting for this Wisteria for quite a while now – but it’s been worth it!
This is the oldest hotel in England, right next to Malmesbury Abbey, and their tour was a pleasure to shoot.
We decided to include the gardens, terrace and a selection of rooms as well as all their main facilities. The menu guides you around the meeting rooms, bars and lounges, and pop-ups encourage direct contact.
Then we customised the overlay, with links, photos and calls to action to encourage direct booking from the tour. The overlay can be updated remotely with new offers and calls to action – without any down time.
Most importantly the client is happy:
- ‘It was a pleasure to work with Justin he was professional, efficient and friendly, even being flexible to ensure we had the best weather on the day! The tour is just what we were after, thank you Justin.’
After shooting a Google Street View tour of the hotel, and stills, I built an overlay which adds in all the navigation and pop-ups – CLICK HERE TO VIEW.
This is what they’ll embed on their website and use on social media.
If you have a good looking venue, then call me to talk over how it could work for you…
This is St Mary’s Calne Sports Centre in Devizes, Wiltshire. They wanted to show off their newly refurbished centre with a Google street view tour, and opted for using an overlay to add in the navigation and pop-ups.

I’m chuffed to be nominated 3 times for “Best in the Cotswolds” for photography, creative agency and video production – you can vote for a whole host of things from best burger to best photographer here
We chose a great day to shoot the Google tour and stills at Cats Abbey, an impressive venue for small business conferences and family gatherings and just down the road from Cripps Barn, also shot a few weeks ago.
Here’s the tour: https://goo.gl/QhnQOs
I’m creating an overlay for them now which they can embed on their website and Facebook with more info and links built into the tour, and simpler navigation to the key parts of the tour.
Here’s the Priston Mill Google tour, starting from outside the Tythe Barn.
… have a walk around inside, and remember to wander round to the other venue – the Watermill – with its working mill-wheel and terrace over the river.
A special venue for parties and weddings,…
Here’s Priston Mill wedding venue, where I shot a “library” of photographs earlier this week, along with a Google tour.
A stunning venure close to Bath, with two buildings to choose from, one huge stone barn, and the old mill house – with the working mill wheels still grinding away.
Here are a few of the stills, and I’m working on the Google tour right now – going to be a beauty!
We chose a cracking day for the Google Business Views shoot at Cripps Barn – not to be confused with Cripps Stone Barn shot last month – and their tour’s impressive, with “walks” through the verdant gardens as well as inside the venue itself.
Good looking venues/businesses look stunning in Google Business Views tours and I give you the stills to use as you wish too – here’s their tour https://goo.gl/Qvke4M
I’m back with the Cripps Barn team tomorrow, shooting Cripps Barn itself after shooting Cripps Stone Barn last month.
I love working with wedding venues around the Cotswolds, from barn conversions to country houses, and these guys really know what they’re doing. Friendly staff, great catering and stunning locations. They’ve also got a pub!
I used to come to parties here 25 years ago, though they’ve now got an impressive terrace and added more space inside too. I’ll be moderating and uploading the tour over the Bank Holiday weekend – so watch out for their new tour next week…
